Lakeview opens 30-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital

Lakeview opened its 30-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital in April 2023, expanding the care available to people who need intensive rehabilitation after injury or illness.
The hospital serves patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological disease, amputation, pulmonary disease, orthopedic conditions, spinal cord injury and medically complex conditions. Rehabilitation and nursing teams coordinate individualized care around each patient's recovery goals.
The addition strengthens Lakeview's continuum in Waterford, helping patients move from hospital-level medical care into focused rehabilitation. Families and referring professionals are welcome to arrange a tour and speak with our admissions team about the program.
