Lakeview Announces That Nicholas Cioe, PhD, Joins New Hampshire Operations as Director of QA
Lakeview is pleased to announce that Nicholas Cioe, PhD, has joined our New Hampshire operations as Director of QA commencing 09-17-2012. Dr. Cioe recently served as Clinical Program Manager of the NeuroRestorative program in Paducah, KY in 2011-12, where he oversaw program development, leadership, scheduling, supervision, training, internal investigations and other aspects of clinical operations. Previously, Dr. Cioe served as both a Rehabilitation Counselor in brain injury rehabilitation settings (2007-2011) and early in his career provided direct care to youth with neurodevelopmental disorders at the Sargent Rehabilitation Center of Rhode Island (2004). Dr. Cioe was the Program Evaluator and Facility Information Analyst Consultant for the Evaluation and Developmental Center of Carbondale, IL, where he revised data and reporting systems, developed and established Information technology plans, and oversaw preparation for CARF accreditation.
Dr. Cioe received his Doctorate of Philosophy in Rehabilitation from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL, completing his dissertation on factors influencing post-acute brain injury rehabilitation treatment outcome. He received his Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL, and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA. Dr. Cioe is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Qualified for Licensure (LPC) through reciprocity, a reviewer for the Vocational Evaluator and Career Assessment Professional Journal, a member of National Rehabilitation Association, a member of the National Council on Rehabilitation Education, and has both graduate level teaching experience in rehabilitation counseling, as well as clinical research experience in MRI and behavioral health studies at Brown University. He has presented at national conferences and has published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on various topics in the field of rehabilitation.
