Lakeview WI Opens Critical Care Ambulance Service

Lakeview’s ambulance service opened August 22, 2012 and is the first licensed all Critical Care Paramedic ground unit in the state of Wisconsin.  The Mobile Intensive Care Unit team is led by Todd Bluhm, CCEMT-P with Dr. John Tucker serving as Director of Medical Control.  Dr. Tucker is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is the Director and Medical Control for Lakeview Hospital’s Emergency Medical Services’ Critical Care Team.  He is a 1979 graduate of Rush Medical College at Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois.   He completed his internship at Los Angeles County University of Southern California Medical Center followed by a residency with the University of Louisville Medicine Program. He is the Medical Director at St. Luke’s South Shore Hospital and affiliated with West Allis Memorial Hospital.  The Critical Care Ambulance Service, developed by VP of Medical Operations Robyn Rushing, Todd Bluhm, CCEMT-P and their team, is the newest State of the Art program introduced by Lakeview Specialty Hospital & Rehab.
