Lakeview to Open Neurobehavioral and Community Integrated Rehabilitation Site in New Jersey
Lakeview Chairman Tony Merka is pleased to announce that Lakeview Care Partners will be opening 16 new beds for neurobehavioral treatment and community integrated rehabilitation in Holland, NJ. Less than 90 minutes from New York City and Philadelphia, the program site is situated on a 20 acre estate near the Pennsylvania border. “We are pleased that we will be able to serve residents from NJ, PA and the NYC metro region much closer to their families and home communities, and look forward to becoming involved in the regional systems of care,” notes CEO Chris Slover. With development under the direction of Dr. Tina Trudel and David Holland, MS, the Lakeview program is anticipated to open by January, 2013, with 16 beds comprised of two units for specific clinical cohorts of individuals in need of neurobehavioral treatment, brain injury rehabilitation, community integrated therapy and residential support. The program will be developed to meet CARF (rehabilitation) and Joint Commission (behavioral health) accreditation standards, consistent with other Lakeview programs, with a focus on best practices, person-centered care and successful community integration.
