  • As a Provider’s Provider, Lakeview’s Long-Term Acute Care Hospital provides intensive hospital-based services for individuals needing complex medical treatment, physical and cognitive intervention. Through close medical supervision, experienced nurses and respiratory therapists, our program optimizes the healing process. The hospital serves the adult, geriatric, adolescent, and pediatric populations with conditions related to complex medical issues, ventilator management and weaning, acquired and traumatic brain injury, coma recovery, and neurobehavioral/neurological disorders.

    Program Admissions Profile

    • Requires DAILY Medical Supervision by a Physician
    • Requires 24-hour nursing care
    • Needs Rehabilitation services including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy
    • Will benefit from a multi-disciplinary physician-directed team approach
    • Must have an expectation for improvement with realistic goals
